By June 2019, these competing responsibilities had all come to a head. The stress and pressure of upholding her standard, as a professional, a mom and a wife, got the best of her. She woke up one morning and did not like the woman she was or the direction her life was going.  She was barely keeping her head above water, with the demands of her job, and had nothing left at the end of the day for her husband and kids. She resigned the next day.

Being a stay-at-home mom isn’t in her DNA. Her mommy motto is, “I am a better mom because I am a working mom.” With that as a guide, she decided to take the skills and experience she’d acquired in her previous role and go into business for herself. This new chapter would give her a stronger voice, enable her to decide when to work and when to be with her family, each with healthy boundaries. To grow as a professional, a mom, and a wife, this business would push her to be the woman she wanted to be and lead the life she wanted to live and be a role model for her children.

In September 2019, she founded Nicole Anders Event + Lifestyle Management because she loved the coordinating process of creating exceptional events she’d done over the years. This would be the opportunity to do what she loved and create a life on her own terms.
